Is that a salt glaze? I really like the old look of it.
Amazing transformation. Well done! What will you do with this - or is it just for your personal collection?
It's not a salt glaze, but more a series of washes which include sodium and other alkaline metals, plus fireplace ash. Electric kiln fired.
Hi Caron, at this stage I am just keeping it as a successful experiment, the shape is a direct Castle copy
