Some new things this week. Firstly some NZ feldspar then some anagama pots fired for 3 days.

Shino bowl

My shino bowl from Japan arrived today....it's tempting to get a few more......perhaps as a special treat sometime in the future. With all the NZ ceramics I have handled this is still quite different.

A small shino glazed dish from Japan

This small dish is my test run at buying a pot from Japan. It has a shino glaze.

The work bench

This bench can never stay tidy for long, this is where glazes are mixed, applied, and tools are kept.
